About Facebook Talk
Back in 2004, a strong, young, devilishly handsome man named Goob signed up for a new website on the Internet known as Facebook. It was so awesome, he got his roommate to sign up and they proceeded to poke and wall comment each other despite the fact that they were mere feet away. Within months, Facebook became The Thing to be a part of and before he knew it, Goob saw almost everybody he knew sign up for Facebook.
And it was glorious.
Gone were the days of e-mailing people or calling them or even talking to them in person. Facebook had replaced all of that! But in September of 2006, Facebook created a new feature. The dreaded “Newsfeed.” And as everybody in the Facebook community began to scream out against Facebook’s “invasive” practices, Goob looked around and thought to himself, “huh? This thing is awesome! Surely others out there must agree with me!”
And this Facebook Talk was born, making it one of the very first Facebook fan sites on the net. Since then, Goob has expanded beyond the Newsfeed fiasco and now blogs about anything and everything Facebook related. From application and Beacon ads to wall ASCII and cool little tricks, tips, and hacks - FacebookTalk has it!
Hahaha, yeah right, all he does now is make fun of people who think this is a Facebook technical support site. IT’S NOT!
